What a wedding!
We typically schedule our weddings a year or more in advance. It gives us plenty of time to get to know the clients, make sure everything is ready to go, and to finalize all the ‘little’ details to make your wedding video flawless.
11 days before Patrick + Lauren’s wedding, I get an email from Lauren’s mom, Suzie, that essentially just said “please let me know if you’re available on this date ASAP!” We quickly responded back and thankfully were available (our only Saturday free for the whole month, as a matter of fact – lucky!).
Suzie and Aunt Becky dropped by our place a few days later to finalize all the details – they are 2 of the most awesome people we’ve ever met! They were both so incredibly friendly and hilarious and really got us excited for the big day. Turns out the wedding videography was a last-minute surprise wedding gift for Lauren – I hope she was happy with that gift! 🙂
The wedding turned out to be absolutely beautiful! The ceremony was held at a church in Yellow Springs. We had such a great time getting to be around everyone all day. The reception was held at Gilbert’s Party Barn – one of the coolest venues we’ve been to for a reception! It was such a perfect night outside which added to the awesomeness (we’ll just pretend that’s a real word) of the whole experience.
Favorite experience from Patrick + Lauren’s wedding: they had a food vendor outside serving up delicious funnel cakes and deep-fried Oreo balls! Seriously delicious. And healthy too… I’m sure, right? Just say yes.
Congrats to you both, Patrick + Lauren, and thanks for letting us be part of your BIG day! To Suzie and Aunt Becky – you guys rock! Thanks for helping us pull this off without a hitch!
